The People’s Fringe offers a nine day show with a series of village areas, entertainment and activities and events that have cross-over appeal from adventures zones, world food, live performances and young people’s entertainment boasting a man-made beach area and facilities that would appeal to the London visitor.
During the day the Young Peoples Fringe field brings the new young and up and coming dance, singing and family entertainment which showcases only young people on stage. Two stages will fill the youth field with competitions.
Festival4stars will be running the finals of their talent competition which is available to the public to register offering prize money in excess of £100,000. Tesco are supporting this cause with EA Gaming as co-sponsor.
Festival4stars are renowned for finding and supporting young stars of the future. Their Patron is Andrew Castle (Tennis player, Wimbledon Commentator, TV presenter) and ambassadors, Duncan James (Blue) and Cheryl Baker (Bucks Fizz & Popstar to Opera Star 2011.)
Since 2004 Festival4stars has run a UK wide talent competition across 11 regions and an international song writing competition encouraging thousands to perform in a positive way to build confidence and self-esteem.
The Main Stagewill host Festival4stars which offers competitions and direct networking opportunities with families throughout the U.K. There will be approximately 30 events throughout the whole U.K next year. The Gaming Area hosted by Partylan,will offer the whole family unlimited entertainment and competitions featuring Kinect gaming, sports, tournaments and competitions. Registration will be available online from April at www.partylan.org
Let’s Dance! The Dance Stage will play host to the workshops and dance styles with leading instructors and will include full body motion tracking.
Open Air Exhibition
GenevaWorld Association will be hosting our magnificent outdoor exhibition with a collection of drawings from children from 191 countries. The challenge was to garner drawings from children representing ALL the 191 UN Member States, ONE drawing by one child from each of the 191 UN Member States, selected from thousands. ONE voice, ONE representation per country, following the model of the UN General Assembly.
The Cookery Zone will feature demonstrations from young celebrity chefs promoting healthy eating as The People’s Fringell as junior master chefs’ winners. This is a great opportunity to become involved in fostering healthy eating on children as The People’s Fringell as developing a relationship with the budding cooks of the future.
