Nikki said of the movies:
“Baby massage builds on this human need for touch, and research has shown the benefits to both mother and child in preventing postnatal depression in mum and encouraging development and bonding in babies as well as easing the minor ailments such as colic that some babies suffer from”.
She continues: “This is supported by the Royal College of Midwives, baby massage empowers a woman to understand her newborn’s non-verbal communication and needs helping them build a happy and confident relationship with their baby for the future. This unique series of short educational movies are the first of their kind and I hope they inspire the viewer to start practicing these simple, but highly effective techniques”
