Carrying on our theme of history projects from last week, here are a number of Roman sites and Museums to visit with your children. It is possible that their school will be taking them to visit a Roman site so it is best to check which one so as to avoid duplicating.
Visiting a place which relates to their schoolwork, allows them to show off their knowledge to you, helps consolidate their learning and often brings history alive for them as museums are trying hard to make their exhibitions as entertaining and as hands on as possible these days.
